GATA4 and 6 knockouts die early - GATA4 around E8.5-9.5, there is a massive failure ventrally - both primitive gut and linear heart tube fail to be formed. GATA6 dies around E7.5 - stage of primitive streak formation. My boss is thinking to collaborate with someone to make conditional knockouts, but I am not sure if he got the money for that already, or is still applying.
